Ha! not off to a great start. Such are the lessons of Lent.
God, help me to wait for you in silence.
Quiet the noisy voices in my head
Quell the racing worries.
In the silence, let my soul rest.
On the calming in-breath feel my soul expand
Lord, the day before me is full
Help me to calm the chatter
Remembering with each breath in,
You are present.
