Dear Lord,
I'm at home sick today
foggy head
stuffy nose
noisy cough
soothed by hot tea and honey
and regular doses of medicine.
Lord,
by tomorrow I should be feeling well again
thankful for health
prayers for those for whom healing does not come so quick
if at all.
Lord,
be with those who must endure chronic pain and illnesses without cure
May they know they are brave and courageous.
